Lora Dyes grew up in Potosi, Missouri. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. After graduation, she moved back to Missouri and began working for the State of Missouri Children’s Division. She assisted families of all sorts with services and resources within the 24th Judicial Circuit. In 2012, she became employed as a Support Coordinator at the Washington County Board for the Handicap. In April 2016, she made the transition to Madison County Service Coordination as a support coordinator. In May of 2020, Lora was promoted as MCSC’s Executive Director. She takes great pride in what she does and works hard to ensure that individuals receive services that best meet their needs and to promote community inclusion. MCSC was chosen as the TCM provider for Bollinger County. The transition to this county will occur at the beginning of 2023.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time and making memories with her 2 daughters. Spending time with her family and friends is very important. She also loves to play with her 2 pups, travel, read, binge watch Netflix shows, and coach volleyball. Lora owns and operates a food truck, MAE’s Snack Shack, that is solely contracted at Elephant Rocks State Park during the months of March thru October.
